Marsh Minnow

Marsh Minnow: Size 4, 2.
Whether you call them cockahoes, or killifish, or mud minnows, redfish
love these little marsh minnows. A little less buoyant than the mud
minnow pattern, but still useful around the marshes. Based on a
design by Marc Pinsel, this fly uses a rabbit strip tail rather than an
exotic fur, but it still has lots of wiggle. Plastic bead eyes
help keep it light. It's just right to throw
into the edge of the grass where the redfish root, and the mono
weedguard keeps it from snagging. Save on six! |
